DEPLOYMENT
Split the table into halve and roll-off to see which player picks the
half they will deploy in. The opposing player deploys in the opposite half.
The Tau player deploy first in their half at least 9’’ away from the
centre line. The enemy deploy second anywhere in their half on the table at
least 9’’ from centre line.
FIRST TURN
The Tau player goes first. The opponent player can attempt to Seize the
Initiative (pg 132).
GAME LENGTH
The mission uses the Variable Game Length (pg 133).
VICTORY CONDITIONS
At the end of
the game, the player who has scored the most Victory Points is the winner. If
both players have the same number of Victory Points, the game is a draw.
PRIMARY
OBJECTIVE
At the end of
the game, each player receives 1 Victory Point for each enemy unit that has
been completely destroyed. Units that are Falling Back at the end of the game,
count as destroyed for the purposes of this mission. Remember that Independent
Characters and Dedicated Transports are individual units and award Victory
Points if they are destroyed.

Air-Mobile: Tau reserve units that are skimmers must enter from the enemy table edge
instead of their own table.
