Kings of War (eng)

Mantic Games has brought a new Fantasy World (Mantica) and a new style of play in the category of tabletop wargames with collectible miniatures. Square bases are retained but now we are not talking about individual miniatures but of units of various sizes. Now the battlefield resembles like a chess game as units fight up to their breaking point.

To speed up game time there are no command groups and all dice rolls are made on the round of the player whose turn it is.

The game is made for large battles. That is why the larger the unit is the less it costs.

The game is played for six plus six rounds

Abyssal Dwarves-Orc Slaves

The game has its own method to maintain balance in what units you can put on the field. The nucleus for all your choices is the "Regiment". For each “Regiment” you have you can select, a Monster or a character or a war machine. For each “Regiment” you have you can select, a Monster or a character or a war machine.

Each army has its own special abilities. They can also be combined as allied forces as long as they are compatible. There are the forces of Evil, Good and Neutral. The forces of Good cannot ally with the forces of Evil but they can ally with neutral forces.

The game's second edition has introduced a variety of spells, instead of a single generic one.

The rules of the game, as well as the lists for the main armies, are free. You can also use whatever miniature you like and from any company. The company’s miniatures may not be considered the best, but they are decent and cheap.
