"THE HORUS HERESY: BURNING OF PROSPERO" is a stand-alone game, for two players, from Games Workshop, and the second based on the Horus Heresy Era.

The game takes place in Tizca, the grand jewel of Prospero, homeworld of the Thousand Sons Legion. Magnus the Red, primarch of the Thousand Sons Legion, had erred by defying his father's command, known as the Nikean Decree, and he is about to receive his punishment in the form of the Space Wolves Legion. During the game's six scenarios players can relive the ferocious battles fought on Prospero between the Thousand Sons and the Space Wolves.
"THE HORUS HERESY: BURNING OF PROSPERO" introduces Legiones Astartes' MkIII power armour, Τartaros Terminators, Custodians and Sisters of Silence. Special Guest Star is Azhek Ahriman's minature portrayed as Chief Librarian of the XV Legiones Astartes.
