Runewars-The Miniature Game

It is a Time for Heroes...

An evil wind rises; the first gusts of a great darkness blow.

Beyond the Ru Plains, the domonic energies of an ancient enemy have bagun to stir. In the Realm of Mist, the malevolent plots of the undying betrayer begin to take form once again. Sinister things awaken in deep places, and feral beasts of the nameless wild grow ever more numerous.

Terrinoth is a realm of deep forests and rolling plains- a land where majestic mountains feed great rivers and hide lost vales. In lovely places, windswept ruins and forgotten shrines lie as fading reminders of splendors long past. 

Runewars-The Miniature Game is competitive game in which each player controls an army of soldiers and fantastical creatures in an epic battle on the fields of Terrinoth. During the game, the armies will maneuver through dangerous terrain, clash in brutal melees, harness potent magics, and much more, all in effort to win a vixtory for their faction by defeating the enemy.

The armies in Runewars-The Miniature Game are composed of organized groups of soldiers called Units. A unit is represented by ine or more connected trays, each of which holds one or more plastic figures. There are three types of figure, each of which fits in a specifically configured tray, as follows:
Infantry, Cavalry, Siege



There are four Factions in the game to choose from:
  • Daqan (Humans)
  • Latari (Sylvan Elves)
  • Uthuk (Demons)
  • Waiqar (Undead)
The objective of the game is to destroy as much of the opposing army as possible by the end of the eight round. The game ends immediately if all of one player's units are destroyed.

Playing the Game
The game is played over eight rounds. Each game round consists of three phases that players resolve in the following order:

  • Command Phase
  • Activation Phase
  • End Phase
