LORDS OF HELLAS

With the fall of the Mycenaean Empire, the age-old might and culture of ancient Greece collapsed, and Hellas was mired in chaos and ruin. This period became a time that no chronicle would document. Amid disarray and death, a handful of chosen ones sought to restore law and order by assuming control over the fallen land. History would remember them as heroes, but the lure of power soon stoked their ambitions. Between the chosen ones, a great war began and its victor would become the sole ruler.

Lords of Hellas is a fantasy/history/sci-fi hybrid competitive game, designed for 1-4 players by Adam KwapiƄski. In Lords of Hellas, you control an asymmetric hero, developed by increasing his 3 basic statistics and gathering artifacts. The main statistics are:
  • Leadership that will help you to move your armies
  • Strength that will empower you to successfully hunt for monsters
  • Speed that will make your hero move faster
Through the game you can choose from various actions and influence the game thanks to the mighty monuments of base Gods: Zeus, Athena, and Hermes. You need to strategically move your armies and hero as well as manage your actions in order to win.

Players can win in various ways:

1. WARLORD OF HELLAS
Control of 2 Lands (a Land is an area encompassing all the Regions of a single color).

In a 3 Player Game, controlling blue Land does not counts toward this victory condition.
In a 2 Player game, you need to control 3 Lands.

2. FAVORED OF THE GODS
Control of 5 Regions with built Temples.

3. MONSTER SLAYER
Slay 3 Monsters.

4. KING OF KINGS
A fourth victory condition will be activated once any Monument is fully built. Whoever controls a region with a fully built monument after 3 Turns wins.

In a 2 Player game, ignore this victory condition.

A player who builds the final part of a Monument takes a Monument Activation Card and places 3 of his Used Action Tokens on it. From this point, whenever he/she plays Special Action, he/she takes it from Monument Activation Card – once he/she takes the last one, the player who controls a Region with this fully built Monument wins.

Meanwhile other players can normally complete other victory conditions and immediately win.
